Wings For Life | Early 2018
Commissioned by Red Bull. A handful of Adelaide's Wings for Life World Run Ambassador's Cody Gray, Brandon Swain, Scott Crowley and Charles Brice share with you the amazing journey's that have lead them to the Wings for Life World Run Adelaide, and why they encourage everyone to run for those who can't and raise funds for ground breaking research to find a cure for spinal cord injury. The Wings for Life World Run is a running competition held on the first weekend of May since 2014 to collect funds for the not-for-profit foundation Wings for Life. The entry fee goes completely to the foundation. The Wings for Life World Run is peculiar in that participants don't have to run a specific distance like in comparable competitions. A car rides on the track half an hour after the start. Overtaken participants are eliminated until just one, the winner, remains. My first attempt at making a documentary style film. Tanna is a land unspoiled. Located 150 km south east of Port Vila, Efate, Tanna is an island in the Tafea province of Vanuatu. Mostly untouched by the impacts of foreign interest, commercialisation and tourism, communities on Tanna remain rich in their ancient culture and true to their traditional means of living. The key goal of the port resolution project is to assist in establishing a community owned tourist enterprise that provides income and development for the community whilst preserving the integrity of the vulnerable culture and traditions.
